The CEO of IPPG Received the 3rd Golden Rose Cup

Entrepreneur Le Hong Thuy Tien has been awarded the 3rd Golden Rose Cup, an award honoring Vietnamese businesswomen.

On December 29, the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) hosted a ceremony to honor 60 typical Vietnamese businesswomen with the title of "Outstanding Vietnamese Businesswoman - Golden Rose Cup" in 2021.

This award includes criteria for corporate social responsibility, dynamic and creative operating management, and enterprise restructuring, in addition to the criteria of being proactive, confident in finding solutions, adapting and overcoming difficulties and challenges, and sustainable business development.

This is the third time that the CEO of IPPG - Ms. Le Hong Thuy Tien has received the Golden Rose Cup award, indicating that 2021 was a successful year for CEO Le Hong Thuy Tien with her achievements. Prior to that, she was awarded the Order of the Star of Italy, which was bestowed upon her by the Prime Minister of the Italian Republic; the ASEAN Entrepreneur Award at the World Knowledge Forum by the South Korea's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations; and the UN Women’s Empowerment Principles Award for commitment and action to promote gender equality.

During the seminar session at the awarding event, businessman Le Hong Thuy Tien said: "In the business world, innovation is defined as a process of research, development, product renewal, process, service, or business model change that aims to provide more advantages and better values to society. With IPPG's innovation toward sustainability."

Prior to the pandemic, IPPG was also actively transforming digitally and investing in ERP systems. So, as soon as the epidemic occurred, the corporation simply required a minor change to have a useful tool for employees to work productively remotely.

Ms. Thuy Tien explained that the Group used solutions such as optimizing operating costs; developing new retail models that thoroughly apply digital platforms to take care of customers; negotiating to call for supplier support; increasing investment; applying advanced technology solutions; and deploying many online stimulus programs to survive this difficult time due to the pandemic. Promotion and discount programs, in particular, collaborated with the Department of Industry and Trade, the Department of Tourism of Ho Chi Minh City... Thanks to that, the sales of branded goods increased sharply compared to the same period in previous years.

At the event, Ms. Le Hong Thuy Tien also committed to "implement the principle of women empowerment". Embracing diversity, equality, and inclusion in business operations, according to the entrepreneur, has been an integral part of IPPG's culture for more than 35 years of business and development in Vietnam.

With the permission of the member council, IPPG has issued the Code of Equality in Business at IPPG to strengthen the implementation of gender equality in organizations.

"Propaganda of specific benefits when businesses apply gender equality implementation is very important," CEO Thuy Tien highlighted.
