The President of the Republic of Italy bestowed the Knighthood of the Order of The Star of Italy to the President of the IPPG. This continues to be the pride of businesswoman Mrs. Le Hong Thuy Tien with her unremitting dedication during the past time.

For this acknowledge contribution, and on behalf of the President of the Republic of Italy, Sergio Mattarella, Consul General of the Republic of Italy in Ho Chi Minh City, Mr. Dante Brandi, bestowed the honor of the knighthood of the Order of the Star of Italy on Ms. Le Hong Thuy Tien on July 28, 2021. At the ceremony, Mr. Dante Brandi delivered the following speech:

“Ms. Le Hong Thuy Tien stood out for her solid entrepreneurial ability. As a result, the family group has developed and consolidated in the country in a sustainable manner, becoming a reference model in the sector of high and medium-end consumer goods with over 25,000 employees and 35 associated companies. Professionalism in her career, as well as prestige with partners, have aided her in acquiring recognition from authorities at all levels and inspiring many young Vietnamese entrepreneurs. She is a typical businesswoman, acting as an effective promoter of female participation in the Vietnamese professional system, the cause of meritocracy, and equal treatment in the private sector. Ms. Le Hong Thuy Tien, a constant supporter of numerous charitable causes in Vietnam and abroad, has also dedicated her efforts in support of Italian institutions. In this regard, her significant contribution to effective fundraising initiatives for primary Italian health institutions for research, therapy, and contrasting the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic should be noted. In addition, she has contributed to promoting the excellence of the Italian fashion industry by guiding younger generations toward Made in Italy items. As a consequence, Ms. Le Hong Thuy Tien has effectively favored the development of profitable economic relations between the two nations in sectors of great importance for the consolidation of Italian economic and cultural interests in Vietnam.”
