Autogrill VFS F&B – a strategic move for non-aviation services of IPPG

Capturing the potential of non-aviation service, on 2013, IPPG has worked with Autogrill – a leading multinational catering company from Italy to establish Autogrill VFS F&B joint venture in Vietnam, to serve national and international tourists at domestic and international airports. This strategic cooperation has open new opportunities for IPPG to profoundly penetrated non-aviation services, which was previously guided by duty free stores from subsidiary company - DAT and to establish a solid infrastructure for investment in Cam Ranh International Terminal in 2018.
IPPG’s first goal was to bring well-known brands from airport service industry from Autogrill such as: Burger King, Popeyes, Costa Coffee, Café Expresso to go, etc… to . However, after realizing the high demand of tourists for local cuisine, Autogrill VFS F&B has decided to expand exclusive brands such as: Big Bowl (Pho and rice vermicelli), Saigon Café, Bar, Kitchen, HaNoi Café, Bar, Kitchen, or Next Noodles, etc. with the commitment to bring customers “Feeling good on the move” (Autogrill’s slogan). Until now, restaurants of IPPG has covered 90% of 5 major airports: Tan Son Nhat, Noi Bai, Phu Quoc, Cam Ranh, Danang.

Currently, Autogrill 62.800 employees at 35 countries with 5.300 point of sales at 1.200 locations, this is Autogrill VFS F&B becomes one of the most ambitious and potential projects of IPPG. Through continuous improvement of operation in cooperation with international standards, IPPG wants to bring the best experiences of local cuisines for the customers through Autogrill VFS F&B, to be consistent with IPPG’s mission “Bringing the best of the World to Vietnam”.
Autogrill VFS F&B is one of the 18 joint ventures of IPPG. Currently, IPPG is one of the leading multi-industry corporations, an exclusive retailer/distributor of over 100 top-world brands, an investor of luxury shopping malls and an owner of over 1,000 high-end retail stores. Besides that, IPPG one of the investors of Cam Ranh International Terminal and duty-free stores at major airports all over Vietnam. Every year, IPPG pays 1,950 billion VND to national budget for tax and creates 25,000 jobs.
