CEO of IPPG made a great impression as a speaker at global summit of women 2018 Sydney, Australia

CEO of Imex Pan Pacific Group (IPPG) considered that women are totally capable of leading a business. 

As nominated by Vietnam Women Entrepreneurs Council VCCI & invited by Irene Natividad - President of the Global Summit of Women, Mrs. Le Hong Thuy Tien was a speaker at Global Summit of Women 2018 Sydney, Australia.

The event happened in Sydney from 26th – 28th of April, 2018 with the theme “Creating economies of shared values”. 1250 delegates including leaders, ministers, CEOs of big corporations as well as women organizations’ representatives from 65 countries over the World have joined. The leader of 80 Vietnamese delegates was Mrs. Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh, Vice Minister of Vietnam.

In the afternoon of April 27th, at the session “Enhancing Women in Business”, CEO of IPPG – Mrs. Le Hong Thuy Tien was giving a speech with 4 outstanding women leaders: Mrs. Denise Evans - Vice President, Women & Diversity B2B Marketing, IBM Corporation from USA; Mrs. Catriona Wallace – CEO of Flamingo AI Ltd from Australia; Mrs. Anasuya Gupta – CEO CICO Technologies from India and Mrs. Xu Ping CEO Henan Imported Materials Group from China. Mrs. Thuy Tien made a great impression on the international delegates as after a long time.

By her warm voice and confident manner, IPPG’s CEO shared her thoughts about authorizing to women in doing business as well as her experience in doing business persuasively and passionately. CEO’s IPPG proved that she’s totally well-qualified to represent Vietnamese women entrepreneurs.

Upon being asked for advice for women to start-up in the business world where men dominate like in Vietnam, Thuy Tien said that women need to do the business to be financially independent and to contribute the economy. Besides, she suggested that women should be calm, brave, intellectual to know all the rules & regulations, diligent and fearless to failure in order to be successful in doing business. Also, she encouraged women to be aware of their strengths and weaknesses in order to improve themselves, learn from failures and be willing to change. “Being financially independent will empower women to freely make decisions on anything they want. Women nowadays are not only joining in doing business but also are capable of being leaders of corporations”, she stated.

Besides, Mrs. Le Hong Thuy Tien shared: “IPPG and government charity foundation have been focused on supporting educational projects for women & children at remote areas, islands and helping them to orientation and teaching women & female children about economy. When women are financially independent, they will gain gender equal.”

At the end of the session, she came to conclusion that: “In order for the corporation to sustainably develop, the most important factor is how to orientate business development strategy properly. Sustainable business is all about long-term investment, maybe this strategy does not bring so much profit in that time but it will be the key for us to lead the market in the upcoming years.”

This is 28th Global Summit of Women with the theme “Women: Creating economies of shared values”, the event reflects mutual connecting value of women to parties and that women have played an important role to the success of any corporation. Global Summit of Women continues to be a significant international forum, a place for strategic discussion in order to stimulate women around the World in doing business.
