Mr. Johnathan Hanh Nguyen sponsored ventilator machines to the National Hospital of Tropical Diseases

Recently, Mr. Johnathan Hanh Nguyen – Chairman of Imex Pan Pacific Group (IPPG), alongside with some entrepreneurs have sponsored the ventilators to the National Hospital of Tropical Diseases. This is the latest act of IPPG in the fight against Covid-19.

In the morning of 17/06/2020, the medical equipment sponsor event took place at the hall of the National Hospital of Tropical Diseases, hosted by the Ho Chi Minh Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front. In this event, over 20 ventilator machines with the total value of 592 million USDs were given to the hospital, by the shared contribution of Imex Pan Pacific Group, Acecook Vietnam & Oppo Vietnam.

The event guests included Ms. Pham Kieu Thanh Huong - member of the Ho Chi Minh Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front,  Mr. Johnathan Hanh Nguyen - chairman of Imex Pan Pacific Group, Ms. Tran Thi My Van - CEO of Acecook Vietnam, Ms. Nguyen THi Thanh Tu – Representative of Oppo Vietnam and the board of diretors from the National Hospital of Tropical Diseases

On behalf of the sponsors, Mr. Johnathan Hanh Nguyen said that they genuinely felt moved by the sacrifices and the non-stop efforts of the Vietnam medical forces in general and the medical teams of the National Hospital of Tropical Diseases in particular. They especially appreciated the strong and effective leadership of the Ho Chi Minh authority during the pandemic. Hence, he hope this sponsor package could be considered as a thank you note from the enterprises to the medical staffs of the National Hospital of Tropical Diseases and the Cho Ray Hospital.

Previously, IPPG had sponsored 30 billion dongs to help the country deal with the impact of Covid-19 and saltwater intrution in Mekong area. They also contributed 6,237 billion dongs to buy 9 negative air pressure machines for hospitals in Ho Chi Minh city and a 5000-squared-meter area, which is originally a business area of IPPG, to Tay Ninh authority to use as a quarantine area during the pandemic. He also sent his help to the people at the Philippines with the sponsor of 750.000 medical facemasks.

At the end of the event, the sponsor crew paid a visit to the negative air pressure rooms. These rooms were completely built and well used to treat the Covid-19 patients at the National Hospital of Tropical Diseases.
