Mr. Johnathan Hanh Nguyen has officially appointed as Chairman of the Board of Southern Airport Services Company (SASCO).

SASCO is joint-stock company offering all-round services: duty-free shops, travel retail, F&B, business café/lounge, transport to and from airports, catering. With up-to-date facilities and professional staff, the company warmly welcomes many customers at the airports and satisfies them with many services and products.

Owning nearly 44% of the stock, Mr. Johnathan Hanh Nguyen – Chairman of IPPG has officially appointed as Chairma of the Board of SASCO. Mr. Johnathan Hanh Nguyen will replace Mrs. Doan Thi Mai Huong – former Chairman of SASCO who has joined the company from the beginning days. Mrs. Doan Thi Mai Huong is still in charge of General Director of SASCO. 

Currently, the biggest stockholder of SASCO is Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV) with 51%. The next is a group of companies belonging to IPPG with the total of 43.65% including Imex Pan Pacific (24.05%); Duy Anh Fashion & Cosmetics (5%); Au Chau Fashion & Cosmetics (14.6%).

After purchasing stock when SASCO started equitization in 2014, Mr. Johnathan Hanh Nguyen & Ms. Le Hong Thuy Tien became members of the Board. In 2016, SASCO’s net revenue of sales & services reached 2,274 bil VND while sales revenue of duty-free shops reached 287,4 bil VND which occupied a half of total revenue. Profit before tax reached nearly 283 bil VND, increasing 236% in comparison to that of 2015; Profit after tax was 234 bil VND, rising sharply compared to 11.6 bil VND in 2015. In 2017, SASCO sets a target of 2,217 bil VND of revenue and 220.8 bil VND of before-tax profit.
