"The society and the world economy are changing rapidly, and in my opinion, the followings are the main factors supporting women to bravely get involved in the economy, finance and society:

1/ Providing a suitable and professional working environment to increase the inspiration and passion for women to express themselves and their ability.

2 / Recognizing and enjoying women’s talent, which will motivate them to cultivate and develop themselves comprehensively.

3 / Orientation and educating, updating knowledge of the latest economic information for women and children from school to society knowledge.

4 / Being financially independent is the key to help women to overcome all their inferiority and escape from their cover. As a result, they can fully prepare to step out and integrate into the world.

5 / Health care for women and girls is the most important for every country and this needs special support from the Government and the State.

6 / The concept of "Male chauvinism" deep-rooted for a long time must be changed radically. Starting from the family, sympathy and support from the husband and father significantly enhance the role of women in social and economy.

7 / Encourage women to participate in women's organizations and unions from local to international level to exchange and update their latest knowledge within the country and around the world.

8 / The important role and practical actions of the Government and the State in social orientation, towards gender equality, acknowledging the role and ability of women.

Mrs. Le Hong Thuy Tien's speech at the seminar ended with a feminist message: "As women, we do not want to be treated favorably, we just ask for equality.” "With very concise and sharp comments on the supporting factors for women who join in and do business in a world that is constantly changing and developing, she really convinced all the delegates and participants in the this time.

Upon being asked for advice for women to start-up in the business world where men dominate like in Vietnam, Thuy Tien said that women need to do the business to be financially independent and to contribute the economy. Besides, she suggested that women should be calm, brave, intellectual to know all the rules & regulations, diligent and fearless to failure in order to be successful in doing business. Also, she encouraged women to be aware of their strengths and weaknesses in order to improve themselves, learn from failures and be willing to change. “Being financially independent will empower women to freely make decisions on anything they want. Women nowadays are not only joining in doing business but also are capable of being leaders of corporations”, she stated.

Mrs. Thuy Tien also believes that when women are financially independent, they will gain gender equal. Also, society and community need to work on changing male chauvinism rooted from long time ago. With the support from male figures in the family, especially the husband and the father, women’s role will be highly-elevated.
