IPPG Awarded 100 Million VND to The Nguyen Thi Minh Khai Scholarship

Ms. Tien Nguyen - Director of IPPG’s Foundation for the Community - A representative of IPPG has awarded 100 million VND to the Nguyen Thi Minh Khai scholarship program.

The HCMC Women's Union has summarized 30 years of the Nguyen Thi Minh Khai scholarship program (1990-2020) and awarded scholarships for the 2020-2021 school year, with the theme "Light Up Dreams". This is an activity to celebrate the 11th Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Congress, the 90th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Women's Union, and the 110th birth anniversary of comrade Nguyen Thi Minh Khai.  

On this occasion, the HCMC Women's Union awarded 180 scholarships and gifts to students in difficult circumstances in the city. The total budget is more than 650 million VND. Each scholarship is worth 1.5 million VND to 18 million VND. In which, IPPG sponsored and awarded 100 million VND to the program.

Students in difficult circumstances in the city received scholarships for the 2020-2021 school year on September 27 in Ho Chi Minh city.

Ms. Tien Nguyen - The representative of IPPG, also the Director of Foundation for the Community of this business, is one of the young people interested in social activities. Over the past time, she has both run the business and run the Group’s Fund for the Community.

Previously, Tien Nguyen also, on behalf of the IPPG Fund for the Community, awarded 500 million VND to the Vietnam Women's Union, supporting children in difficult circumstances.

Ms. Tien Nguyen - IPPG representative and also the Fund Director for the Community of IPPG awarded scholarships to students in Ho Chi Minh city.

According to Mrs. Nguyen Tran Phuong Tran, Chairman of the HCMC Women's Union - Nguyen Thi Minh Khai Scholarship Fund was established in 1990 from the initiative of the Women's Union District 5. Since 1990, the scholarship fund, named after the first woman Secretary of the Party Committee Nguyen Thi Minh Khai, has been deployed by the HCMC Women's Union into one of the important activities, took practical care of the children of women cadres and members in difficulty on their way to education.    

Since then, the Nguyen Thi Minh Khai scholarship program has supported 263,192 students with a total budget of over 179.8 billion VND. Many sponsors participated in supporting the program. Pupils and students who have stable jobs, continue to support the juniors.
