IPPG successfully organized the ROBOG competition

The national ROBOG competition was organized by IPPTech (a subsidiary of IPPG) in collaboration with UBTech, Van Lang University, Lac Hong University under the professional guidance of the Vietnam Institute of Educational Sciences - Ministry of Education and Training, Institute of Information Technology - Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology.

This is the first artificial intelligence competition in Vietnam using humanoid robots, opening up a creative intellectual playground, where students not only have the opportunity to express their passion but also explore and develop their own potential, but also promote them to develop creative thinking, be ready for the future of technology 4.0, and the necessary skills for the future.

In particular, in his role as director, Mr. William Hieu Nguyen - Vice President of Strategy of IPPG Group, Head of the Organizing Committee of the competition has made many efforts, creativity, and enthusiasm in organizing the National ROBOG Competition to create a useful playground for students from primary to high school and university students across the country, helping them have the opportunity to experience and learn through teaching aids, humanoid robots with advanced technology combined with artificial intelligence.

In the final round, the competing teams will have to face practical challenges, requiring a smooth combination of programming knowledge, robot control skills, and creativity. The competing teams need to complete both the basic competition (including fixed tasks) and the advanced competition (adding some tasks right at the competition) with tactical solutions to perform the tasks and AI Robot design solutions suitable for each type of sand table in each table.

In the final round, contestants will use Ubtech's modern Ukit and AI Robots to complete tasks within a limited time. This is not only an opportunity to challenge themselves but also an opportunity for students to approach science and technology and artificial intelligence (AI), helping to develop logical thinking, system thinking and creative thinking.

The national ROBOG competition is not only a place for students to demonstrate their ability to program and control robots, but also an opportunity to arouse their passion for science and technology, helping them access scientific advances and develop creative thinking. This is also a playground for contestants to explore their own potential, develop teamwork skills, work management and problem solving, which are important factors for the future in the digital age.

With more than 250 contestants competing live and thousands of fans watching via livestream and social media platforms, the national ROBOG final round was full of excitement, drama, and fierce competition from the best teams from Hanoi, Bac Giang, Bac Ninh, Ha Nam, Hai Phong, Hue, Da Nang, Quy Nhon, Khanh Hoa, Ho Chi Minh City, Dong Nai, Ba Ria - Vung Tau and Can Tho city... The diversity in geography and age of participants made the competition more exciting than ever, competing to win valuable prizes sponsored by IPPG Group with a total cash prize of up to 500 million VND and many other valuable gifts from sponsors.

Awarding prizes to teams competing in the 2024 National ROBOG Finals

The National ROBOG Finals not only create an interesting playground for young people to demonstrate their programming skills, but also serve as a stepping stone to select the best teams in each group to represent Vietnam in the World ROBOG Finals, scheduled to be held in Shenzhen in early 2025. This is a rare opportunity for children to experience advanced technology and access the world's leading science and technology platforms.
