IPPG donated 500 million dongs for poor children in Ho Chi Minh City

Fund for Community by IPPG continues its serial activities on the International Children’s Day (1/6). The fund representatives, including Ms. Le Hong Thuy Tien - President of IPPG and her children Tien Nguyen, Hieu Nguyen gave the special presents to those who grew up in poor-condition families, on the Scholarship for Children Program. This program is also supported and accompanied by Ms. Nguyen Tran Phuong Tran, President of the Women Association of Ho Chi Minh City, and Ms. Mai Thi Ngoc Mai, President of Vietnam Association for Protection of Child's Rights (VAPRC).
IPPG granted the scholarship to the little ones with hope to accompany and support them in their education journey.
This act is one of the many from Fund for Community by IPPG, a charity fund ran by Tien Nguyen. This fund’s mission is to accompany with the community from different ages and levels in order to leverage their lives quality.
Through the last few months of operation, this fund has donated over 750.000 medical masks and 16.500 medical equipment to the Philippines Department of Foreign Affair during the Covid-19 pandemic. Besides, it also donated 30 billion dongs for the fight against Covid-19 in Vietnam and damage of the saltwater intrusion in Mekong area.
During the peak of covid-19 pandemic, IPPG has sponsored its 5000 square meters of its business ground, taken from the Duty-Free Supermarket Moc Bai – originally a 150 million USDs invested supermarket of IPPG, to the authority to build up a quarantine area for the international gate at Moc Bai, Ben Cau Ward, Tau Ninh. This special area is to store medical equipment, essential groceries to welcome the Vietnamese citizen come back from Cambodia.
