IPPG donated 2 billion VND to help people in the Central region and 1.3 billion VND to the family of 13 martyrs who died on the rescue road in Rao Trang 3.
On the morning of October 17, Nguyen Thao Tien (Ms. Tien Nguyen), representing IPPG's Fund for the Community, awarded an amount of 3.3 billion VND to the program “Joining Hands Toward The Central” of the Ho Chi Minh City Fatherland Front Committee.
The representative of IPPG told Tuoi Tre Online: “Mr. Johnathan Hanh Nguyen is from Nha Trang city. Before the flood happened, he and his family were very emotional and sympathetic. When Ho Chi Minh City mobilized to raise money for the Central region, he told Thao Tien to support those people immediately. In addition to the amount of money supporting the people of the Central region, we decided to donate 100 million VND to each family of cadres and soldiers who died in Rao Trang 3 because of our appreciation for the noble sacrifices of the soldiers.”
