SM Entertainment and Imex Pan Pacific Group make memorandum of understanding

SM Entertainment officially enters Vietnamese Market by this strategic partnership with IPPG. Specially, as planned, SM’s representatives are coming to Vietnam this May.

On May 10th in Seoul, South Korea, the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between SM Entertainment Group (SM) and Imex Pan Pacific Group of Vietnam (IPPG) was officially signed. Attending the signing ceremony at SM Entertainment Headquarter (South Korea), representatives of IPPG including Mr. Johnathan Hanh Nguyen (Chairman of IPPG), Ms. Le Hong Thuy Tien (CEO/President of IPPG), Mr. Phillip Nguyen (Vice President) and Sooman Lee (Founder & Executive Producer), Youngmin Kim (Group CEO), Semin Han (CEO), and member of the group NCT Taeyong, Mark, Johnny.

This is considered a big leap of the entertainment industry, providing opportunities for young talents in Vietnam to have a professional and larger development environment to reach out to the World. It also helps to bring closer the world back to Vietnam.

IPP Group is an enterprise with many successful projects that have been deployed for nearly 32 years of investment and development with a total investment capital of more than $ 500 million in Vietnam. IPP is the exclusive distributor for more than 96 world-class brands of fashion, wine, watches, cosmetics and fast food in airports and provinces throughout the country. Through strategic alliance with SM, IPPG will be local partner in developing business in Vietnam by promoting current SM artists as well as discovering new local artists, will launch a variety of businesses, which includes media content production, advertising agency business, and lifestyle business.

In this May, SM’s representatives are going to Vietnam. As planned, in May 24th Youngmin Kim (Group CEO) is coming to Vietnam to meet Mr. Johnathan Hanh Nguyen and in May 29th, Nicky Han (SM Entertainment’s CEO) is visiting Mr. Johnathan Hanh Nguyen to discuss further about this strategic partnership.
