IPPG and CDFG Sign Strategic Cooperation Agreement, Promoting Vietnam Tourism

On November 5, 2024, Mr. Johnathan Hanh Nguyen's Imex Pan Pacific Group (IPPG) signed a memorandum of understanding on strategic cooperation with China Duty Free Group (CDFG), opening up opportunities for breakthrough development in the field of tourism trade between the two countries.
This event took place within the framework of Trinity Forum 2024, the world's leading aviation retail trade forum, held in Ho Chi Minh City, with more than 400 guests, speakers, experts and leaders of international airports, leading corporations in the field of retail and aviation services. The forum was hosted by IPPG and co-organized with Airports Corporation Vietnam (ACV), Airports Council International (ACI) and Moodie Report Magazine.
This strategic cooperation agreement aims to promote the partnership between IPPG and CDFG, develop business, explore new opportunities and enhance tourism exchanges between Vietnam and China. This is an important step in expanding cooperation in the field of travel retail and contributing to enhancing Vietnam's position in the eyes of international investors.
CDFG, one of the world's largest duty-free retail groups, owns more than 200 duty-free stores in China and many other countries, and is a partner of more than 1,200 famous global brands.
Mr. Johnathan Hanh Nguyen emphasized that IPPG, with its pioneering role in investing and developing duty-free retail in Vietnam, has contributed to enhancing Vietnam's attractiveness in the international travel retail industry. With more than 1,000 retail stores and partners of 138 famous brands, IPPG has not only expanded its network of stores across Vietnam but also strongly developed duty-free store chains at border gates, inner cities and airports.
He also said that with the growth of the tourism industry, Vietnam is becoming an ideal destination for aviation retail trade. The cooperation agreement with CDFG will contribute to creating a solid foundation for the sustainable development of Vietnam's tourism trade in the future.
