At the seminar titled "AI and Information Security in the Digital Era" co-organized by the Vietnam Women Entrepreneurs Council (VCCI), Imex Pan Pacific Group (IPPG) officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women (UN Women) in Vietnam.

IPPG has become one of the first two enterprises in Vietnam to establish an official partnership with UN Women, affirming its pioneering role in promoting gender equality, women’s economic empowerment, and sustainable development in the private sector.

The seminar was attended by representatives from UN Women Vietnam, the Department of Science and Technology of Da Nang City, The Asia Foundation, and over 150 delegates from government agencies, associations, and the nationwide community of women entrepreneurs.

During the panel discussion on AI and cybersecurity, Ms. Lê Hồng Thủy Tiên – CEO of IPPG – stated:

“We believe that in the digital era, AI is not just a tool, but a vital strategic foundation that will shape the way we think, operate, and create value in the future. At IPPG, we see AI not only as a transformative force but also as an inevitable advancement. That’s why we are committed to applying AI in a responsible, strategic, and human-centered manner to create sustainable value for both the community and our business.”

She further emphasized:

“AI is only truly effective when accompanied by comprehensive security solutions. At IPPG, we have proactively built a security system from the ground up, incorporating three core layers of protection: responsible data and AI governance, multi-layered security infrastructure, and the development of a culture of information security across the entire Group.”

Speaking about the partnership agreement with UN Women, she shared:

“To me, gender equality is not only a moral value but also a sustainable development strategy. Over more than three decades of building and leading IPPG, I have clearly witnessed that when women are empowered, businesses grow more holistically, communities become stronger, and society progresses further.”

The signing of the strategic partnership with UN Women Vietnam marks a long-term commitment. We highly value the leadership role of UN Women in promoting practical policies and initiatives that support women – from enhancing leadership capabilities and expanding economic opportunities to fostering safe, fair, and inclusive working environments. This partnership enables IPPG to access international frameworks, measure progress toward gender equality, and gradually integrate these goals into the company’s operational strategy.

IPPG is committed to implementing key terms of the partnership, including:
• Increasing the proportion of women in key management and leadership positions;
• Developing a performance evaluation system aligned with gender equality objectives;
• Providing learning opportunities, technology training, and digital skills development for female employees, especially in the context of digital transformation;
• Establishing comprehensive welfare policies that support women through various stages of life.

We believe that digital transformation can only succeed if it is implemented responsibly and humanely – meaning no one is left behind, especially women. By partnering with UN Women, IPPG aims not only to lead in technology but also to pioneer a workplace that is equitable, sustainable, and centered on people.

In addition to the signing ceremony, the seminar also featured in-depth discussions on technology trends and digital security, serving as a platform to help women entrepreneurs strengthen their adaptability in the digital age.
