Recently, Cam Ranh International Terminal was honored to receive regional certification in the Airport Health Accreditation (AHA) programme of the International Airport Council (ACI).

This is the ACI Airport Health Accreditation for Cam Ranh International Terminal in ensuring safety procedures for disease prevention and control in airport operations. The programme was created to enable airports to demonstrate to passengers, staff, regulators, and governments that they are prioritizing health and safety in a measurable, established manner in the fight against the spread of COVID-19.

To be certified AHA, Cam Ranh International Terminal must undergo a rigorous assessment of safety and health measures at the airport. The evaluation aspects for approval include: cleaning and disinfection procedures, intermittent social distancing measures, employee health protection program, ground operations arrangements, communication measures for passengers, and equipment for passengers must comply with the highest standards of the civil aviation industry.

The station has a unique architecture which is inspired by Bird's Nest, a typical product of Khanh Hoa province. The design concept is clearly shown through the station block and the wavy shape of the roof.

Not only showing the local symbol, the roof with an outstretched design, the light-emitting section at the top of the roof also solves the problem of adapting to coastal climatic conditions, and is the highlight of the light as well as creating artistic shapes at night.

With a total area of ​​50,500 m2, Cam Ranh International Terminal is equipped with the security systems, security screening, controlling system, fire prevention and fighting and modern means of supporting customers which are imported from specialized suppliers, aviation equipment from Germany, USA, France and Spain, meeting 4 standards.
