Mr. Johnathan Hanh Nguyen is known for bringing Vietnam to the world. This is also a significant mark in his career path – “the king of brands”. He stated, in 1980s, economic sanctions of the U.S has challenged the economy and people’s lives. Air cargo is also affected by economic sanctions. 04/09/1985, he and the Counselor of the Vietnamese Embassy - Tran Tien Vinh in the Philippines to enter the Presidential Palace. He has submitted the Air Route Licensing Ho Chi Minh City – Manila to President Marcos and got approval from him, even though it has been rejected in the past. To have a direct flight from HCMC to Manila of Vietnam’s airline crucially help our country to abolish the U.S embargos, gradually connect with the world.

After successfully opened the air route, Mr. Johnathan Hanh Nguyen is also one of the first overseas Vietnamese to return home for economic contribution. With the purpose to from 1986, he is the founder and Chairman of Imex Pan Pacific Group (IPPG) and brought this private corporation to grow eminently.

One of the factors creating the name for IPPG is a breakthrough when it becomes the first enterprise in Vietnam to engage in the branded fashion business. IPPG also built a system of duty-free shops and non-aviation retail services, invested in construction and management of Cam Ranh International Terminal in 2018. At the same time, IPPG established a fast-food chain and a high-class restaurant with 160 stores throughout the airport and nationwide. In particular, he was honored to receive an award from the President of the Philippine House of Representatives for his essential contributions to the development of trade and diplomatic relations between the Philippines and Vietnam, 1st Class Labor Medal in 2015, 2nd Class Labor Medal in 2011 and 3rd Class Labor Medal second time in June 2019 awarded by the President of Vietnam.
