1985

Chairman Johnathan Hanh Nguyen spared no effort in overcoming struggles to establish the first direct flight between Ho Chi Minh City – Vietnam and Manila – Philippines, which paved the way for Vietnam to step out to the world.

1986

With his enthusiasm and efforts indefatigably contributed to his fatherland, he established Imex Pan Pacific Company now is Imex Pan Pacific Group (IPPG). And with more than USD 500 Million of investment into 30 projects in Viet Nam such as Paint Plant, Zippers Factory, Homeware Export, and Rattan Manufacture, etc., IPPG has become a bridge, a prestigious spotlight that attracts investment, and have made IPPG a trailblazer unlocking national economic potentials and opportunities.

1993

The first IPPG Duty-free stores were opened at 2 Vietnam's major airports - Tan Son Nhat and Noi Bai. We consulted and supported the airports to upgrade Vietnam aviation services to international standards.

2000

As we capture Vietnam consumption demand for luxury goods, IPPG attempt to bring in world-class brands to the country. In 2000, IPPG started to be a partner and and distributor of the world's most prestigious Liquor and Tobacco brands, so far we have expanded to more than 300 liquor outlets nationwide.

2005

Five years later, IPPG President Le Hong Thuy Tien seized the Luxury Fashion Retail. That's how DAFC was established and licensed for 64 international golden fashion brands as today, which has helped national economy flourish the tailwind of import-export turnover, attracted numerous international co-partnership and FDI.

2009

Inspired by the rising demand from both local and international travellers and from our insight on the potentials of retail market, IPPG joined the mid-tier Fashion Retail under our sub-company names ACFC. We then have led this segment since, as we are proud to be the exclusive distributor in Vietnam for 12 world's most popular mid-tier fashion brands such as GAP, Nike, CK, Levis, …

2010

Following the success of DAFC and ACFC, IPPG stretched our arms to fast-food industry. In 2010, we franchised Domino's Pizza and Burger King - the super internationally famous fast-food chains that have started another page on the journey of operating series of fast-food stores across all provinces in Vietnam.

2011

With strategic vision and ability to seize upon, IPPG invested USD 25 Million into the renovation of Rex Arcade - most extravagant Fashion Retail Podium in the heart of central Ho Chi Minh City which is home to many boutiques from top-world fashion brands .

2012

Acquired experience and strengths in the F&B sector, in 2012, IPPG franchised 2 other famous international fast-food brands to Vietnam - Dunkin’ Donuts and Popeyes. In the same year, IPPG Supply Chain was founded as we started focusing on developing a closed production - transportation - supply chain to ensure quality synchronisation in accordance with international standard on fast-food chains.

2013

IPPG invested USD 45 Million into the renovation of the iconic Trang Tien Plaza to the most extravagant Department Stores in Hanoi Capital of Vietnam where is the first centre in the country home to more than 100 world-class brand-stores.

2015

2015 marked a milestone for IPPG as it reached 600 outlets of liquor, fast-food and fashion across Vietnam and the major airports.

2016

With the purpose of developing Non-aviation business comprising Duty-Free, Convenience and Fast-food stores, IPPG co-invested with strategic partners in the joint construction of Cam Ranh Airport's International Terminal with the value up to USD 180 Million, and capacity of up to 8 million passenger-per-year.

2017

IPPG Chairman Johnathan Hanh Nguyen was appointed Chairman of the Board of Southern Airport Services Company (SASCO) in May 2017 after he joined SASCO Board of Director in 2016 since IPPG is the strategic shareholder.

2018

Early in 2018, IPPG introduced its new Corporate Brand Identity which then marks a new "IPPG coherent" togetherness brings the best of World to Vietnam. The Cam Ranh International Terminal (T2) inaugurated in June 2018. In September 2018, IPPG made a grand opening for eDiGi as the first Vietnam's authentic Apple reseller that reaches both APR and ASP standards. This encroachment on hi-tech retail is such a spectacular turning point for IPPG.

2020

IPPG maintains the pioneer position and investing in new projects: Artificial Intelligence Education, Free Trade Economic Zone, Downtown Duty-free, Online Duty-free, Airport Smart, City Financial Center.
